I’m Sha’Keema Mixon, President and Director of Miracles & Blessings Inc., a nonprofit early childhood organization built on a foundation of love, learning, and a deep commitment to helping every child reach their fullest potential.

With 17 years of experience in the childcare field and 10 years as a licensed provider, I hold a Level 3 ECE Credential through Gateways to Opportunity and am currently working toward Silver Accreditation through ExceleRate Illinois.

At Miracles & Blessings, I lead with passion—creating a nurturing environment that builds confidence, creativity, and strong educational foundations for every child we serve. 

Outside of my professional role, I’m a proud mother to a college student and a devoted dog mom who loves to shop, decorate, laugh, and enjoy delicious seafood.

Hi, My name is Diori, I am an Early Childhood Educator (ECE Level 1) with over 9 years of hands-on experience at Miracles & Blessings Inc, where I’ve had the privilege of helping children learn, grow, and thrive. My passion for early education has inspired me to further my knowledge — I’m currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Childcare to deepen my understanding of child development and education.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading, crafting, and traveling — activities that fuel my creativity and broaden my perspective, which I bring into my work with children every day. I’m dedicated to creating nurturing, engaging environments where every child feels supported and inspired to learn.

Hi! My name is China, and I’m proud to be part of my family’s daycare team. I’ve always loved being around kids and helping them learn, grow, and express themselves in creative ways. I graduated high school early and currently attend Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about fashion, designing clothes, and creating new styles that express confidence and individuality. I love bringing that same creativity and positive energy into everything I do,  whether it’s helping children discover their personalities or pursuing my own dreams as a future entrepreneur.

Working at the daycare has taught me patience, responsibility, and how rewarding it is to make a difference every single day. I’m excited to keep growing, learning, and inspiring others along the way!
